Project: A non-conventional NGO, meant to change mentalities through active involvement in civil society and by combating social stereotypes and discrimination of any kind.
Challenge: They needed a solidified approach, a more organized way of doing marketing. They were already active on many social media platforms, and had a massive following on all of them combined. But in order to mantain those followers engaged and to keep up with the on-going needs of the NGO, they needed a well-defined strategy.
My approach: I started by developing a marketing strategy for the brand, then moving forward with specific channel strategies, editorial plans, social media guidelines, templates etc. Also, depending on their needs, I would contribute on-point to create marketing plans for promoting specific events or initiatives, create social media posts, rewrite texts for landing pages, manage their Google Ads account, create press releases or newsletters, do press outreach, etc.
Results: An on-going growth of the social media community, an increase in traffic, an easier process for managing the marketing activities in the NGO.
